Yep. The terra cotta is delaminating. I either need new terra cotta or I need to run a metal chimney pipe up it.

Do you remember that hard freeze we had state wide here in Texas a few years ago? IIRC, most of the east coast was warmer during that mess....
This past weekend was the first in a Looong time, that we mainly stayed in the house, other than the essential runs out, check on Mom, and Church. Was near Zero, Sat & Sunday mornings, so no walking the dogs to the park. It made the lower 20's this morning, so we all needed to stretch our legs...

Picked up the new compressor today. A little lower CFM than I wanted, but for $499.99 (after being on sale and the $150.00 rebate) I will learn to adapt. A forced sanding break every now and then might not be so bad!

Used to have the forced breaks. Adding a secondary tank helped but then the forced break lasted too long but at least it wasn't as often. My first compressor wasn't nearly as big as your new one though....

That's the 1st BAT sale I've seen that was completed by an offer from the highest bidder after not reaching reserve. Congrats @ckessel , it looks like you did right by your friend. Nice truck.

Went to the beach for some exercise
Rode the bike 4.5 miles north, averaged a 6:30 mile. Headwinds from hell. 4.5 miles back, wind at my back, averaged 3:30 a mile. Always ride into a headwind FIRST lol.

Preparing a Christmas Eve Dinner for friends and family today.
Spent the day yesterday tidying up and re-arranging furniture for a Christmas lunch with family today - 12 in total.

While the better half is out doing the things she needs to do, I'm trying to clean off the Belvedere and the Dart. They both became large shelving storage areas for a lot of stuff that needs to go! Some of the 'stuff' is good and most isn't.....

It's just too darn easy to do.
Just got done making our Christmas Eve bacon wrapped horse radish shrimp and scallops for my family and Mother in law. 1 1/4 hours prep/cooking as I slightly cook all the bacon first so you don’t over cook the scallops or shrimp. My wife made corn and risotto. All that work and all done in less than 10 minutes! Shortly I will go help my wife clean up as the kitchen is a mess especially the stove..
