What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I moved my very heavy vintage Kamado from my son's where I use to live and made a spot for it to sit. I love it because it is old and works great for smoking food. Found at a yard sale being used as a planter. I just need to go catch some fish now.

Changing the oil and filter in the lawn tractor. Then back to my wife's TR6. Becoming acquainted with a Laycock overdrive unit at the moment.

Finished my taxes.

FL got a few extra weeks on account of the hurricanes.

Down to 26 pages from a high of 114 a few years ago.

They flagged my wife's business for not making money 3 years in a row, so I dissolved the business.
Too bad, as she intends to start back up this year.

...and her W2 had two lines on box 14 which turbotax refused to accept and would not e file with them.
I just added them together.
Hope a black car with two guys in suits and sunglasses doesn't come by later.

Worked on my friends car
Intermittent crank. Sometimes it would turn over, sometimes not. Did a little research and found it's a common problem.

"Let's put the relays inside the fender where it's nice and dry!"

My place kept me busy too with cutting/chopping/stacking firewood, mowing and rolling grass. Started getting involved with airplanes a lot of years ago until I found out how expensive they were and didn't make enough to sustain that. Wasn't real heavy into cars (had done an engine swap though) and woodworking yet but that came a few years later after Uncle Sam was done with me. My first house was easy to take care of since it was small (1145 sq ft) and the yard was small too.

Ya, 33 years of it so far and I'm getting tired! It was a great idea when I was 30!

I hear ya. I’ve done hard labor at our place innNH and I’m looking at making some improvements there and I just don’t have it in me any longer to do construction work. When my office building sells, I’m hiring someone.
