What do you think reading this plug?

That is oil fouled rich would be sooty and have deposits on ceramic.
High mile motor?
57k. Saw the car(*** ended hard), its odometer and heard it run then pulled. But yes, there are deposits on the ceramic..

RBL-13YC???

The plug shown is a Champion RJ-12YC. Now begins the debate of: my plugs are better your plugs and/or which brand is best (Champion vs AC vs Autolite vs NGK vs E3 vs ??), heat range used and why.
To answer the origional question, many factors can influence the conditions of combustion including: timing, fuel mixture, type of fuel, engine temperature, compression ratio, cam shaft, etc. Preliminary opinion, it looks as if the carb is a little rich as well as a initial timing is a little retarded. BUT...others will have their own adgenda and preferences....who is right....time will tell.

Lol, very well rounded response! Its an all stock motor inside. I've changed nothing but the timing chain/gears. Initial timing is 15* and 36 total. I have been bringing it up a degree or two at a time and watching the vacuum gauge (18") and no hard starting at all. Seems it always wants more. It runs typically around 190* on a 90* day. Premium fuel, non ethanol from Chardon Oil

That plug looks like oil. Nothing around the thread, did you wipe it clean or did it come out that way.

Idling and a short trip won’t give you a good plug read. I would take that car out for a nice ride, 40 miles or so of mixed driving. On the last part of the trip you want a light cruise load and then shut the car off and pull a plug to read it.

If things still look the same I would say compression test and leakdown and go from there.

Just how it came off. Wiped nothing

Sounds like your are just getting things up and running. Basically most run time is at idle so far, so I really wouldn't be to concerned with how they look. I wouldn't be " reading the plugs " based on idle run time .

Do you have a vacuum gauge? If so hook it up up your MANIFOLD vacuum port. You said you are at 15* initial right now, you could probably bump it a few more if you wanted or leave it where it is. But with vacuum gauge attached then adjust your idle mixture for the highest vacuum. Take it on a good drive and check them again .

Its at about 18-19" of vacuum now

At idle the engine normally needs a little rich with some cam in it, a short drive doesn't bring the engine up to full operating temperature over prolonged time.
As already mentioned, clean them up/replace the plugs when you are ready and take it for a long drive and then see how they look.
If the mixture is good during driving the plugs will tell you.
