Finally quit raining here after 3 straight days, fire pit flooded, pool filled to the top, Leaves starting to drop. Gotta go drain and close the pool now.

I feel blessed to have this 9-acre oasis right in town. A creek and floodplain are property lines. One-quarter mile in any direction is urban and condos to the horizon.

You guys with hilltop and mountain views make me miss Colarado and the Tx Hill country...I hate flatland....nothing really majestic about the topography, we do get some nice sunsets and sunrises I guess. ..
