What Exhaust for 65 Coronet with 440 engine

Been searching high and low for the best exhaust from headers. Using X or H style exhaust and what mufflers to go with. Want a nice throaty sound that's noticeable but not to loud where you can't hear yourself thinking while driving. Any suggestions? Thought about an X style exhaust from TTI with the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers.

TTI is the way to go.
Great quality and great fit.
I really love the sound of Flowmaster 40s but sometimes they get a bit loud. But WTF? Its not like we are driving a Prius.

Tti system the way to go . Only thing i would do is flange the mufflers and mid-pipe so you can get the tranny out if you have to without messing with the mufflers and tailpipes. Good luck .

H-pipe or X would be the best?

i use a 3" tti h-pipe with dynomax turbo mufflers. all the noise my old butt can stand. fit is very good. 3" may be overkill.

look at weld on v clamps and talk to TTI when ordering about what you want, they were willing to switch out the clamps for me at no cost.

I used Dougs on my 65 w/3' pipes x pipe and dynomax ultra flows.
