Any photos??Going to be crewing on a friends street/strip full weight '69 Roadrunner next year, currently building the car up with good parts to handle the mild pump gas 588ci wedge motor he's just bought. Car will run brkts and do 5>6 meetings plus lots of short trip street driving including to the track and back, should be fun as he's currently only been going 12.4's with a mild 440, got some learning to do with 730+ftlbs on tap, and hopefully mid>low 10's.
Where is the block coming from, you’re going to be a busy man!Replacing the factory radiators in the Roadrunner and GTO with Cold Case aluminum radiators. While the radiator is out, going to install the Wraptor serpentine system and accessories. Power steering (Borgeson) for the Roadrunner will make parallel parking a non-life threatening experience.
I have a lot more that needs to be done. I'm having a shop install the QA1 K-member and front suspension along with the 4 wheel Wilwood disc brake system and new stainless steel brake lines.
Both cars need Vintage Air AC systems installed along with Dakota Digital gauges and I have a Hydramax hydraulic throwout bearing setup and I have to get the HitMaster launch control system, because those are going in at the same time, and I want to get a chrome molly driveshaft to install around that time too.
Got a TKO600 5 speed to replace the Muncie 4 speed in the GTO too, in the box in the garage. Getting the replacement Quick Performance rear axle housing to swap out the one in the GTO now. The new one will be 1/2" wider, have the adjustable lower control arm brackets that should have been on the first one, and the Global West coilover conversion brackets too.
So not sure how much I'll do or get done, but lots of changes ahead!
Caltracs setup for the Roadrunner asap, and putting down a deposit on an aluminum RB block that I hope to get built out by May, but at least pay off the block by May.
Southeastern Performance R/T. It's a Bill Mitchell World block based unit. They are doing QC for the units probably end of this year or January 2020. I won't be ready to pay off the block until May unless I get a new client that needs a big job done, and with everything else I have to do, I am going to do well to just pay off the block in May, but I will get it built out if I can afford to.Where is the block coming from, you’re going to be a busy man!
Doug are you installing the trim on the 64.I'm working on the tow vehicle. My ultra modern 95 3500 diesel dually. Rear brake wheel cylinders, starter rebuild, NV 4500 5th gear repair, boost repair. Split a boot. Boost was down to only 20psi. Then it's on to my buddy's new N/SS car. Here's a little teaser.
