Yes, and thanks @goosernothing wrong with wanting to do something you want to do nothing wrong with dreaming
You are a treasured source of inspiration and motivation, because of your long first hand experience with the Weiand 6bbl intake. Especially when I was downtrodden over the fitment, or more accurately failure to fit under my N96 hood, and for the other generous help you have given me.
I have vacillated over a number of directions I wanted to go with my car, and what I thought I "was sure" I was going to do, for instance like my friend Budnicks mentioned the triangulated 4 link rear suspension, like RMS StreetLynx or Gerst, and I even got encouraging PMs to go that route from those who have, but in a multiple page thread I started I ultimately changed my mind and went the Calvert split mono leaf springs and sliders and Assassin traction bars route, mainly to not be overwhelmed with so many adjustments available that I'd never get it right, and also because the choice I made is less invasive on my real V-code. Now if I make a choice that requires modifications that aren't easily undone, well that is part of the decision making process, but in this case of the rear suspension, I feel like the resulting performance improvement and headroom for "not wishing or wanting" for more than the setup I've chosen vs what a RMS setup could do, even in the future with a 540 that will demand the suspension be up to par to do its job for traction and safety, the choice I made was a better way to go, and I will be able to get the most out of it.
So thanks for your help and guidance regarding the Weiand intake, because there's no way I can shake the drive to get that up and running, and working really well.
