Howdy Bearman.
Going to keep the 64 at home here and hopefully something opens up. I've made some upgrades to it and some air intake changes. I feel good about it fixing my top end layover that I fought with all last summer, actually as soon as I took the cowl hood off and sealed the air bell to the big hemi scoop last year. It started right then and there.
I'm keeping an eye on a track that's 6 hours east. Their web page is talking about getting something going after May and the nice thing about that track is that it's 2 to 3/10ths faster than my local track due to altitude/air. And perhaps if the border opens up I might find something south.
The hemi for the Dart is in parts acquiring mode right now. I've got most parts now, my Victor hemi heads should arrive late this week. I'll get on those as soon as they show up, got some port finishing planned for those. I've got to make a decision on whether to go with Stage V rockers or with Indy roller rockers yet. There's quite a difference in cost between them. Hopefully I can be convinced either way, looking for opinions guys... The rotating assembly will come through my buddy who will be doing the final hone work on the block . Dyno work, etc. So just as well the Dart stay away until I'm ready for it.
I did put boots onto the new hemi wires today, a first for me for hemi wires. New territory.
