My Hemi Dart AAR hood is finished. And another poly paint booth job in the books.
Now that the Dart is finished it will get put away in storage in a couple weeks, until fall. When it comes back in the fall I hope to have the hemi ready to go in. Looking forward to getting the 64 back home and a new season to get ready for.

made a little progress today, last day of sunshine under quarantine. mounted the gauges today, since i'm not in vegas at the muscle cars at the strip races.

Budnicks is the first to make clear that the D)s are clustered mostly around the big cities. His neighborhood may be mostly R)
For me, the D) control at state level makes Cali a "no go zone" but Budnicks seems to make it work or at least bearable.

we just dodged a bullet from sacramento last month in the primarys, dont matter where u r in the state, they want to get rid of prop 13. rumor has it they r still counting ballots towards it from the trunks of cars in alleys.....november they r going to try again. with another bag of D tricks.

Still working on the assumption the tracks will open. Pulled the trans to make a spacer to give the converter more clearance. Found damaged pump rings, shaft, and reaction support. Probably damaged when it broke the ear off the converter and busted flex plate from last year. Replaced those parts along with a new filter. Everything else looked like new. Checked the valve springs and lash. New plugs , cap, rotor. Found the coil terminal had unscrewed itself. Coil wire was just setting on the stud. And since I have all kinds of time the bottom and the engine got cleaned and waxed.

Man you have too much time on your hands ! . Mine is lucky to get motor washed once a year , just a quick wipe over mostly .
I will do some more rust removal on the Plymouth , darn canadian cars .
Crossing my fingers to keep my workshop open .

Had the engine, trans, and rear end out of the road runner. My son broke the 8 3/4" axle late last season. Went with a Dana and 4.10's to try to complete the A12 clone look. Inspected the trans to be sure the sprague was ok. Replaced it with a bolt-in as well as a billet drum and some other upgrades. The plan before the breakage was to take the engine out to repaint it. I prepped it poorly the first time and the paint flaked off. Scored a set of pollished Super Tricks last year. I wet sanded and pollished them for race days. Drove it for the first time since the breakage last night. Can't wait for the track to open.

doug I noticed the plates on top of your carb's. did you make those? and why?. I am having trouble with my car throwing fuel out of the carb's. when I lowered the float level I picked up a slight stumble. I was trying figure out how to stop it splashing out. fear of a fire starting is not something I need or want.
K&N stub stacks.
Modified K&N's. The front stack was to close to the hood scoop. We step milled it at 5 different levels along with milling part of the choke horn. Dropped it 3/4" I wondered if air passing over the bowl vent holes was siphoning fuel. Thus the tube extensions for the bowl vents. Pipe insulation is wrapped around the base to radius the entrance to the pan. Ill get the O2 sensor hooked up this spring. If definitely helped the 1/8 mph. The 1/4 might have slowed some. Well find out
