Mothers makes it shine like no others!

And i've tried just about everything on the market over the past 25 years of bashing gears :3gears:

Believe it or not I like this really old tin of Simoniz that came with my car when I bought it.It even had an old wool sock stuffed inside it.
It was what the two previous owners used--so why not?
It is still good and sure makes the old enamel paint shine on my Waygun.
I bet whatever is in this stuff is no longer in the modern waxes..

Meguiars all the way!! Claybar, Show Car Glaze #7, NXT Gen 2 Tech Wax....then after a week, Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26....simply amazing results.

Ive always wanted to try Mothers and Meguiars and still i send to get car wax and my wife comes home with Nu Finish, ive used it for 10 + years and it seems to work great, even the wife's daily driver done once in the fall spring time rolls around and it still there. I still intend on trying the others just to compare, the Nu Finish doesn't seem to hold up very good on Chrome though for what ever reason. Good poll...

Car wax does work well but not Nu Finish.. Regular chrome polish is much better for polishing them but yep, i like to keep them waxed just like the car more for protection against what i hear any more of rust and pitting earlier then should be. the polish should but wax i think is better, IMO, but i use it mostly, (car wax) for winter storage.

What is the best product to eliminate-prevent swirls in the paint?
I just can't get my head around waterless washes. I have never used them. How can they take off dirt particles without scratching the paint? How dirty can a car get, and still have success with a dry wash??? Will it take off bug splatters? Thanks for your in-put............................MO

I've always used Meguiars products. Fond of the tech wax myself. Always brings out that gloss so deep, you could lose your soul in it.

Wax on chrome huh? Never tried that, always just used a good chrome polish.
I too wax all my chrome. On my Harley I use a spray wax on everything after every wash, the paint chrome and everything. Adds that nice protective layer :)

A buddy of mine used chrome polish on his bike almost every weekend and after about a year and a half, the chrome didn't look so good. If it needs to be polished, that's fine but once it's nice and shiny, wax it because it doesn't need to be polished anymore. As for waxes....I'm using Meguiars products these days but haven't been using it enough to be able to say if I like it or not. Heck, I hate waxing cars lol. However, I'm starting to get brave enough to use my DA with it. It's adjustable speed so that's good. So far so good and no burned paint.

Blue Coral at the $1 car wash. My car has shitty paint.

I bought a gallon a couple of years ago that was blended at my local NAPA store, I still have it and use in on everything with Meguiars #7 for scratches.
