What Oil Filter Brand Do You Use or Recommend?

The articles opening line "These pages are NOT to be taken as gospel."
I've used Fram and WIX sense 1962 kept my oil changed and never spun a bearing in an engine I built. So I'm not about to change brands over crap like this.

This topic has been discussed numerous times on other forum discussion boards and the over all consensus is never use Fram. To me it is a no brainer...You get what you pay for. But never would I put a Fram filter on any of my vehicles or other motorized equipment. In the long run you are just asking for trouble....:imho:

Wix or Napa Gold, they are both made by Dana. Hastings, is another good one, and believe it or not Motorcraft ranks right up there. I know I know that would be sacrilege, but they do make good filters.
