What size rims should I use?

Hi Guys, I am a new here and I love this site. I am new to the drag racing, I recently picked up some 29.5x10.5 MT drag slicks for my 74 roadrunner, Stock leaf location, I was wondering what backspacing I should use on the rims to make the tires fit. Thanks for any help.

I think you are limited to a stock 15x7 ralley or a cop style wheel,because of the small wheelhouse & stock spring location!Also the 10.5" tire might be too wide, maybe a 9" or a street radial would be better for you.

Try a 15x8 with a 4.5" back spacing.

15 x 8.5 with a 6.5 backspacing wheel.its going to be real tight. i dont think the tire will fit. but it might with a 8.5 wheel definitely not a 15 x 10 wheel

Before going out and spending money for something that might not fit and then having to deal with restocking fees etc you might take a look at this. You could probably make something that would work too since this tool isn't exactly real cheap. Summit sells it for 70 bucks.....
