What tools have proved to be invaluable to you?

For me, it was the discovery of the Digital Multi-meter (DMM) that I learned how to use later in life that’s been invaluable to me. You can quickly check a battery, the alternator to see if it’s charging properly, continuity of ground to the chassis, chase electrical problems, and the list goes on and on. I use it on pinball machines, washing machines, hot water tanks and on and on and on. I wore out the first one I bought about 15 years ago and just bought another. It was under $20 but worth it all the way!

My lift is still number one as posted earlier but these deserve an honorable mention.

1/4" and 3/8" swivel sockets, a 2' 1/4" extension and a 3' 3/8 extension. Gotta pull a trans? That 3' extension is your best friend with swivel sockets.
