Had a minor valve tick sound and pulled vc off and found an acorn ... like just the empty shell in there.
What wierd things have you found inside your engine?

don't know about found in the engine, but I never found this missing piece... :shruggy:

Bought a low mileage 413 from a junkyard a few years ago. Looked OK, but found out it had sat long enough for the valley pan gasket to rust through, I found water, rust, and a locked up engine...

I was driving my old Hemi Charger years ago & all of a sudden the engine started running rough & at the same time, I heard a clanking go through the exhaust system. Checking with a compression tester, I found one cylinder with no pressure. Pulled the head off & I found that a chunk of the exhaust valve had broken off & blew right out. Had that gone into the cylinder, it really could have been a mess. I guess I really dodged a bullet that time.
