What's it Worth: 440 6BBL distributor 3438578?

This is an unrestored distributor in very good condition. I believe that it's correct for 1971 440 Six Pack cars.

There is no slack in this distributor so I believe that it was an early takeoff that was swapped out for an aftermarket unit. Back in the day, my stepfather would install aftermarket distributors and headers for street racers. He always kept the original equipment after the swap. He passed away three years ago so I cannot ask him for the history on this distributor.

Keep in mind without the tag it is just a 440 dual point distributor for a four speed. With that being said dual point 4spd distributor are rare. 440 ones go for 300-400 unrestored.....
