Hey everyone,I found a car and I want to make an offer on it.Last year my friend and I found a farm with Mopars on it,my bud bought 3 of them but the car I wanted wasn't for sale.

It's a 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner.....Yellow with the black hockey stick strip all black interior 340 and a 4 gear pistol grip....I have no idea at this time what the car really came with from the factory. The car was redone about 15 years ago but has been sitting out side for a while.

The interior is in very good shape,it needs nothing but a good cleaning.
It needs: lower 1/4's,lower fender patches and a complete repaint.
The 340 is stuck from sitting. And the rear rails are getting scruffy (but I do have a southern rear half of a car sitting around with perfect rails)

I'll try to get more info(vin# fender tag) and pic's of the car this Tuesday march 30/2010

Pictures will help on this one, was the guy fair and easy to deal with in the past?. I always say start way low, you've got nothing to lose.

My bud pulled out a 71 bee with a 383 for $800.00 he tried to get the Runner for $1000.00 the guy did think about it but no go...I was going to show up on Tuesday with $2000.00 in hand and see what happens.

Cash in hand makes people think a little harder. Start with 15 and move up from there.

If it's originally a 340 4-speed car you're prolly gettin a good deal unless it's just in ridiculously awful shape, there were less than a thousand made that year with that combo

2K is exactly what I was thinking, but hearing about the previous 2 cars, I might start lower.

Ok guy's I'll hold off untill I can get the vin# and fender tag info,pic's...For all I know it's just a 318 car ha ha

if he didn't think srtongly about the $1000 you offered him i would also go up to $1500.if he still not sure about that price, then maybe you can ask him what he thinks he wants for the car, that way you at least have a starting point on where you can start the wheelin'&dealin'.

No go today,I'll have to try and meet with him another day :( but on the briight side my bud and I did find a farm with a lot of cars, some of them Mopars and yes they are for sale.
