What's the deal with 16 volt Turbo Start battery's holding a charge

Sounds like great customer service! XS floated us one of their new lightweights (L925-16A), but none of us has tried it yet. It's freakin' light, but our current cars have the suspension setup for their current heavier batteries and don't really want to mess with anything since the season has started. May throw it in the Coronet when it's done . Keep us updated!

thanks for reminding me. i need to readjust my ladder bars since i went from 85lb.big yellow top optima to the 34 lb. turbo start.

spoke to turbo start today. they told me the lite weight battery doesnt recover as good as the standard 45 lb. battery 16 volt.
They said, to try the new battery 1st and if it doesnt work then they will figure out with me over the phone or give me the standard 16 volt battery.

At least they are working with you. Sounds like just bad batt. maybe, Stuff happens.

put the new battery in and trickle charges it all night. see what happens next weekend. going go bring both batteries with me just in case.
