What did u end up doing to get the six pack hood? Is that a steel with the scoop glassed on or a fiber glass hood?

Couldn't find my Super Bee pic so this is the Ply version of the A12 car. But how can you not love the looks of the 69-1/2 A12 calls and call yourself a gearhead !! I tell you after my 63 Max Wedge clone all time favorite Mopar I like the A12 cars and 70 Runners best. These boys are just plain bad a$$ ! Ron

Mine is a fiberglass scoop on a steel hood. I had to cut the hole and do some fabrication to get it to work. All because im running stage VI heads. I still have the original hood in sublime.

Wasn`t big on the 1970, back in the late 70`s early 80`s. My "Car" of choice then, would have been the 69 1/2 six pack. Then Mopar, started the wild colour thing in 1970.
Now , & i voted, it`s the Purple, Lime Green, Panther Pink .... on the 70 .

wait wait..i was born in 1970...but let me tell ya this..these are never comin back..ive been sitting here thinking that lately..the days of these cars we all have are gone mine included.."67 Coronet 440"..man we need to treasure these like no tomorow..man,i wish i couldve seen these back in 60's through 70's..i mean i remember them groewing up..all kinds..i remember this one guy had a super bee front end way up there and another guy had a GTO.we always wanted to see them race and we finally did..the Bee took'em..and the gto had 454 dual quads nitras,,man right on the street ha,ha..those were the days my freinds..well im blabbin take care and God Bless.Bear R.-

Agreed. Was there when they came out-no car intro (including the Daytona) produced such a buzz on the street. Pretty much everyone lived in fear of racing one at the time.

My dad almost traded his 68 for a 69 440-6pk. They raced, he won and kept the 68. He had that 383/auto setup just right, but wishes he would have just bought the 440-6pk as well.

I like them all. Most people think my '71 Charger 500 is a superbee because of the yellow and black paint job. The '71 is also a nice driving car.
On the other hand I have three '69 Coronets, but none are superbees. One 500 Hardtop, one R/T hardtop, and the R/T convertible.

Im in the same boat, everyone of them i like and no way to pick one over the other.. It would be a pick a number out of the hat if i were looking at all of them in a line up all for sale, i couldn't loose which ever one i managed to pick and id be happy with it. Ive seen these polls before and i think this is one of the hardest to take.

Not a bee but the 68 R/T 500 tail lights are the best tail lights ever put on a car.

Well I do love the 68 RT / 500 tail lights and the 68 RT overall, but i am still a big fan of 68, 69, and 70 RR, Sprort Sat, and GTX tail lights also.

that is one awesome color! Had a 68 RT that was a turquoise,727, Rally dash, and white bucket seat interior and A/C ... was a Texas car. I sold it to a guy in Southern Illinois and saw it freshly painted at Monster Mopar in the early 2000's.
