Now that's getting you bling on!
Except for on my old Grandpa New Yorker. I think it suits the era.I agree, whitewall tires were never my thing.
With recall wheels!
Generally, I do not like whitewalls, especially with aftermarket wheels. But, when I restored my 1964 Dodge Polara 500 Convertible, I wanted to use the special Spinner wheeldiscs that came with the "500" package. I just did not feel that the car would look right with blackwall tires. The whitewalls complement the white convertible top and the white trim in the interior. I think it depends on the car. Whitewalls usually look dumb on a Musclecar. The 1969 SuperBee that I purchased new came with whitewalls and full 14" wheeldiscs. It did not stay that way very long. That's my SuperBee in the 1969 photo.I agree, whitewall tires were never my thing.
On that car, with those wheels, I agree with you.Except for on my old Grandpa New Yorker. I think it suits the era.
