Tool mine ut for a bunch of errands this morning. Burned up about a quarter of a tank.

That's a long way to go for a winters rest!! Right across the state line from you, our snow is not that often or bad. Better safe, than sorry! Sleep tight!!

Those cars of yours need a good run! Having cars can be like a good book or a great movie. One you read and look at or the other you see and drive. I enjoy reading, but there's nothing like a good movie! Pick one and roll!!! The roach better not end up Garage furniture. She's being built to storm the streets and like mine, built to wear it out, coming in at the end sideways screaming holy sh*t, what a ride. Our days are numbered, use-it-or-lose-it.

Yes, it’s worth the drive! Resting well now!

Put the Charger back into the garage and attached the trickle charger to it. Now it sleeps until April.....hopefully.

Getting the 67 ready for a cruize night tonight. Will try and take some over the hood shots on my way there.

The season is always to short, that's the part I don't like.

Right before halloween.

Short 40 mile trip with the better half this morning. Cut it short when 2nd to Drive reved a few times vs the hard shift she's had for 34 years. Hoping it's just the fact she's a good pint overfill.... but I rarely get that lucky.

I took the Charger out today for a long test drive to check out my carburetor adjustments. It ran 100% better. I stopped by the lake for a quick photo opportunity.

I didn’t get a picture but I went to a taqueria for nachos with a friend and then took the Coronet on a country road and went faster than ever before in it. A whole 61 mph! I’ve been putting around surface streets just seeing how it does for awhile, this was basically a parts car at some point I believe, and I’ve taken it easy in case I missed something when nut and bolting it but decided to get it up to sorta freeway speed and just see how it feels. Felt pretty good!

Drove my car for the first time in a long while from my house garage back to the farm shop to work on it over the winter
We had our first sprinkle of snow this morning and and the near future weather is not looking any better so today was the best day to get it moved
Pistol grip 4 speed and got it to second gear with a big smile
Can hardly wait to get it out on the road and go through all the gears

It's always about getting it to as close to perfect as we can. There is no definition for perfect, other than how big you can get your face to smile. I love those wheels!!

You're an example of that person that was working with less to get more, "basically a parts car". That's a great story and, "felt pretty good", doesn't sum up that new place on that ladder you and your car have entered. Be proud!!

Your car is well on it's way and a pistol grip 4 speed in any gear is a rush!! I can see where your going with this car and you'll be........ Letting The Horses Run!!!!!.
PS. I was raised in Canada and winters are longer than the summers. Enjoy!!
