Where did you and your car go today

I've been there, what's the plan?
Took the advice he gave me every time I’d ask for a raise, found another job

Which I start today, but unfortunately Texas winter is a roller coaster, 70s and 80s all last week, 30s and 40s and rain until Friday, so I won’t be able to take it to work until the end of the week

When we lived in Canada, just off the boat, my father was given a nickel an hour raise. He also overheard the boss say, what the hell, give the poor a**hole a nickel. My father never forgot it and neither did I. Him telling me that and the look in his eyes, changed me as an adult. I've carried the tired and stomped a mudhole up the a** of the bad guys my entire life. I'm proud of that and I know you'll remember it whether you want to or not, it's a moment that pushes us forward. I'm thinking about you!!!

I always told my son to work hard and be proud of the job you do no matter what. Also look for something better if you're not happy. We spend too much time at work (whether for someone else or yourself) to be unhappy there.
At the end of my working career (past 50) I was lucky enough to find good bosses, however if they hadn't treated me well I just would have bought my own business and did things my way. The end bosses let me run everything my way so I suppose it all ended the same.

Little Anthony's is a 1950s diner in Tucson that regularly has car show twice per month. Last Saturday the turn out was over 100 cars. I like the In N Out cup antenna toy.

I remember working with people who thought, if they couldn't make their candle burn brighter, they'd just blow yours out. They needed an adjustment, and got one..

Well I’m big on an epic road trip, just an ice cream, or just round the block, just get it out whenever possible. Well weather sucked last week, and it’s going to suck next week, but today was just good enough for a trip around the block and a burnout (or two)

You do what you can, when you can!! As always, nice view!!

Used the Coronet to go across town and get a battery for my Crown Vic, it ran so well that I thought the accelerator pump fixed itself, but after giving it a closer look it didn't just probably the perfect weather for the engine today. Something kind of satisfying about using the roughest project car in the fleet to get a part for one of the normal cars.

Took my '66 out for a drive and a nice, soapy bath today. I've really missed driving this car! Gotta get that slow leak fixed on the LF tire, as it only had five pounds of air this morning.

Gas and groceries, weather is going to be perfect this week!

Food, battery, and a bath, sounds like a date night!! The last of the snow and salt went away yesterday. The temperatures are now in the 50's and 60's for the next week anyway, and my turns in the next few days!!

Yep, we had our last winter blast until Easter, so even though I still have an oil leak, the weather is too good to pass up, just keeping it around town and an eye on the oil level

Warming up here but roads are still - literally - white with salt. Charger is staying put.

Car wise, I may swap transmissions in the turbo van. It's got a wrong-gear-start issue even after I replaced the valve body and the governor (and added a spring to the governor to help prevent sticking). I have spares in the shed...just have to try and remember which are cores and which are usable lol
