Guy's at Petty's garage are impressed with the body lines and custom rear graphics, bought 2 graphics kits for it, neither were not quite right, my son in law had a vinyl print shop he made those custom to fit.

I hope thats a Toby Mac tape :poke::lol:
That brings up a great story. I had a 68 dodge pickup. The radio was a newer radio under the seat. Our church does a small group thing where we get together at a members house. The ac didn’t work so the windows were down which means the radio was turned up. As I pull to the house I heard the song playing so I tried to turn it down, only I hit the wrong button……so there’s a group of church people I’ve never met and “Hells bells” is blaring

Went for a ride today. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. At one point I was behind a police car. I couldn't get to my camera fast enough, his license plate read, "420". I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!!

Took my ‘68 383 Charger for a spin to the gas station & to check out the rebuilt stock clutch. The car needs a good wash. Maybe tomorrow.

The clutch was bad?
Clean or not everyone loves a classic!

The clutch grabbed pretty high up with a very slight chatter. When I took it apart, it was down to the rivets on one side. The original owner must have really liked to slip it. I had the stock one rebuilt locally for two reasons; to keep it original, and the stock pressure is easier on the left leg compared to the “street” McLeod unit in my 440.

At some point, I’ll pull the 440 clutch out and have him put lighter springs in that pressure plate.

Some people don't get it. A clutch can last almost forever if you use it as intended. I knew a gal when I was in high school, that would take her car to about 2000 or so rpm's and just sloooowly let out the clutch. She didn't get 20,000 miles out of a clutch. I couldn't drive with her, it drove me crazy.

I had a friend like that. We called him Clutch Cargo.

Well ya won't catch my Wife doing that, she knows where to rest her foot as well..... unlike so many people I've meet along the way that like to cook throw out bearings. Damn 0.5 focus makes her look thick though.. LOL

I taught Theresa how to drive a stick. I told her you can grind a gear, you can ride me, but never ride my clutch. She was perfect at it, she got her first automatic 5 years later. She'd take my 240Z out all the time and spank it like a rented mule. When people ask if she can drive a stick, we still look at each other and laugh. Some of us are just lucky....

Agreed fella! I bought Leah that plastic '64 thing for our 10th anniversary in '92. 350LT1 out of a 70 Vette, low 4, maybe even a high 5 rear end and a 4 gear. You could start it by turning the key and in gear, there was no need to put in the clutch. She drove that like a scalded cat, so she's been banging gears for at least 33 years and me the odd time! LOL Sold the car on her Mother's Day, of all days, 2018 to pay for some of the Bee's body work.
