Decided to bite the bullet today and get me a dash pad for my 68 charger. Narrowed it down to two companys, yearone and be&a. Not worried about cost, more so quality. Dont wanna be pulling the dash out 6 months down the road. Which company would you recommend

Being that both places get their dash pads from P & G, I'd say it's a toss up.. I had bad luck dealing directly with P & G on there dash pads (rusty core and studs), so whoever you go with, I would call and thell them not to bother sending you rusted up one.

Good luck.

I was just thinking the same thing. Didn't know where to get mind from either. And if they get them from the same supplier, Year one has a 30% off sale every now and then, I'll be looking for that. Who else makes a good dash pad ???

I will say Yearone's customer service has been great to me. I'd go with them and just wait for one of their big sales to pop up.

I got mine from Carolina dashes, they are on ebay and are actually in Ohio somewhere, Reasonably pleased. If money were no issue I'd look into just dashes out west.

What about just-dashes. I had good luck with them.

I didn't know what prop said of where they get there parts like this, so i would call, i remember seeing and reading about the rust issues on props 69 ... I can say that Year one will stand behind there stuff, I bought a lot of things from them but a dash pad was not among them.. I had no issues with anything,, If i myself were doing this id use them... shipping sucks though.. I put in tonight a 20% off sale code in the anything gos part of the site if you decide on Year One but i would call and tell them straight up, what you expect, im sure they will work with you. Good luck.

I bought mine from year one with a 30% discount and it is great.

JD is expensive, but probably the best out there. Stuart, I got mine from them last year and it wasn't that much unless they raised their prices? I want to say it was $400 plus core charge. Having a convertible, I justified the expense as with the top down, everything is magnified!

yes just dashes just recovers yours so they are great but expensive , last i heard they were 600.00 plus your core .

great news last i priced then it was 600.00 a couple years ago. I know there stuff is the best quality you just have always had to pay a really top dollar price .

Nobody said Legendary. I too am shoping for my B5 blue 69 RR. Was looking yesterday, and Year ones listed black only ( I think ) for like 349 bucks. Legendary listed blue ones for just over 100 bucks. With that big of a differance I must be missing something. Any body out there know whats the differance?

I'm thinking you're right Stu....Legendary for the most part makes there own stuff, it's quality stuff, and they know it. I can imagine if Legendary made or recovered dash pads they would be just as pricey if not more than Just Dashes.

But I still do like that pad with guages installed that Just dashes makes...Think you posted it a couple years ago Stu.

Does anyone know where Classic Industries ($230.) gets theirs? This is the cheapest I can find after P&G @ $195.

Avoid Superior Dashes in Ohio.

Almost as expensive as Just Dashes but lost my original dash core, shipped me back a different (bent) recovered one.
