I have a 1970 Road Runner with a stroked 440 in front of a Tremec 5 speed. I'm trying to figure out which headers I should order. What brand and type do you have and how well do they fit and perform?
If you have photos, that would be great to see any clearance issues.

TTI C5's are the way to go if funds allow.

I third that with TTI! Have them on both my cars. If ordered correctly, they fit with no problems. ruffcut

I have Hooker Comps on one of my cars, and they fit and perform perfectly. However, to what extent is your engine mod requirements to determine primary tube diameter and length, collector size, etc ?

I see TTI recommended a lot. What makes them the best?
Could be that they only make headers for Mopars.
I have been installing their products for over 20 years now. You can buy direct or from vendors.
Any concerns about fit, a phone call should answer your questions.

I had no issues with 2" Dougs on my 66 Belvedere 493 stroker.

My engine is now a NA 522 pumping out about 650 hp. I'm building it for Open Road Racing so there will be long stretches of WOT. So I'm looking for the headers and mufflers that will support that. I appreciate everyone's suggestions and photos. This forum is great for the camaraderie.

64 Belvedere with a Poly 318.

The short answer is that TTIs simply fit, perfectly. They don't hang low and tuck up nicely. Well worth the $$.

Hooker Comps.

TTI fit perfect and quality is amazing! Expensive but you buy once and cry once.

Full 3" TTI from headers to tips with QTP cut outs. Nice and snug. Even around the fuel tank. No issues.
Well worth the $$.

That system is very similar to the 493mike system on my 65! Your collectors line up with the crossmember better than mine do but my engine is back as far as I could get it placed.
