Which would you buy? 1968 Dart GTS 340 or a 1972 Charger 318 CI auto trans?

I don't think weather either of the cars are for sale or not with this poll matters. It could simply be hypothetical. With 68 for the Dart and 4 for the RR at this posting it is very clear what the winner is and I agree. Most of us are buying muscle cars for there muscle and I see no comparison between these two cars. Muscle was OVER after 1971.

I have to say the Dart.. 340 car, more seldom seen..they are becoming more collectable by the year.

The Dart would command more attention as a 340 car than the Challenger would if cloned up to a 440-6...

Indeed.....go back to sniffin glue. It's a 72 Road Runner. LOL Seriously, it's a NICE car that has all the body work and paint DONE. It simply needs assembling and for you to choose your weapon of choice for engine and drivetrain. It IS a factory 400, 3 speed car. You got that part right. lol

Would be a tough choice.. the GTS maybe but I do like that year Charger as well.. but the 340 vs the 318.. although nothing wrong w/318.. but when a car starts with a G it grabs my attention... GS, GTX, GTS, GTO, GSX etc.

I have a soft spot for Buicks...and a 1970 GS 455 sitting next to the Charger. It's gonna be fun to get them side by side next spring.

How about a '73 440 Charger instead?

Putting up a "Plain Jane" 318 Charger against a GTS is a bit unfair IMHO. Those big B-Bodies need a Big Block to move them. No wonder it's 92% in favor of the GTS...
