Yes, i was sick about Caroline. They also had British Guests on board...3 if i remember correctly.Wright Patt does not fly any of their aircraft. MAPS is restoring theirs to fly. Damn shame the CAF's plane (and crew) was lost.

I watched the training film for landing the B-26 on single engine.......155 indicated(don't know if thats knots or statute) was reccommended airspeed for single engine operation. Man, those are tight parameters since landing speed was 140 mph....narrow window!Jimmy Doolittle proved that the B-26 was a great airplane.
