These photos appear to be from inside the old B-52 hanger. When "FiFi" was in Seattle for refurbish in the early 90's, I spent over 100 volunteer hours helping all the many other current and former Boeing workers making her look new again. Got lots of pictures. Missed my day to fly as time working on the B-2 came first.
I didn't know the Lexington was commissioned in 1925.USS Lexington found 2miles down in Coral Sea, with some pretty good looking planes. By P.Allen- Microsoft co-founder the other day.
Paul Allen has a museum "Flying Heritage" in Everett, WA that is an amazing exhibit. It is filled with "War Birds" from a bygone era and most of them are air worthy, being flown all around the Puget Sound, weather permitting. If you're ever in the Seattle area it is a must see.I didn't know the Lexington was commissioned in 1925.
