Is that a Hawker Fury? If so, they had one of the most complicated engines put in that period aircraft. Supercharged sleeve valve radial. The engine has a crankshaft to run all the pistons, and another one to run all the sleeve valves. The sleeve valve engine was invented and developed by a guy named Knight and saw limited use in automobiles.
The cockpit of the A-20 in my previous pics, owned by Lewis Air Legends, the only flying Havoc of the few left.What aircraft is this?
