Probably the same as many other bombers with transparent front ends.It must have been a bit un-nerving to fly one of those Heinkel bombers for the first time with not much in front of you but a big plexiglass nose. It wouldn’t make much difference going down in the long run but I would think it would still be un-nerving at first.
For the navigator and bombardier certainly. For the pilots though they probably didn’t feel as completely exposed. However, with the Germans liking to make head on passes at our bombers, adding about another 750 ft/sec in closing velocity to their machine gun and cannon round muzzle velocity, there wasn’t much protection no matter where you sat.Probably the same as many other bombers with transparent front ends.

Mosquito bomber. Made almost entirely from wood. LOL
The pilot and co-pilot kinda had a "hood" to look out over. For the Heinkel pilots, it would be like driving an early Econoline or VW van.Probably the same as many other bombers with transparent front ends.
