Yes, the Martin B-57 is a licensed copy of the English Canberra. While flying a model over to the US for evaluation in 1951, they grabbed the record for the first transatlantic non stop jet flight. In 1955 the British flew one to an altitude record, 65,889 ft.I can't remember nomenclature of American counterpart, but they are all variants of the B-57 aren't they?
However the CF-100 Canuck has nothing at all to do with these planes, being a fighter of completely Canadian origins.
