How did the dragster in post #577 hook up the driveline??

Good question! Haven't researched it but Ed Roth was a sponsor, if not the builder, so their may be some info about this 'sidewinder' out the web? Could be it was a promotional/show build and isn't functional at all? Found that photo on Facebook.

In May 1971, Duke Ellington appeared at City Stadium as part of an event headlined by Bob Hope and sponsored by Nolde’s Bread. Ellington wore the cowboy hat to shade him from the sun. The event attracted a crowd of about 10,000. (Tickets cost $2 plus four blue Nolde bags, or $4 and buyers received coupons redeemable for four bags of Nolde bread.)

Original photo 110 film, ‘68 RR in front of home, Flash flood. The RR wouldn’t start in the water so it was pushed down the street to a high spot and there it started.
Interior was bailed out.
