Why is it all the car builders are in NC and Tenn?

There's no room left in Cal. and we in the south don't have so many laws to adhere to as far as the D.M.V. goes.

Weather....weather.....weather...!!!! It's hard to beat one month of spring, one month of fall, eight months of summer and a couple months of mild winter.

North Carolina is a car guys dream location. Mostly due the concentrated fabrication, engine and general all around car orentented talent brought there by the NASCAR community. I had a small powder coating business in a Denver NC industrial park several years ago and could get almost anything done with in walking distance. Ever wonder what those race car builders do when they get off work....?

I'm in Alabama now.... retired, and driving one of my Mopars every day. (usually with the top down.)

OH....... Did I mention the beach's.....?
OH..... and the southern food.....!
OH...... Can't forget sweet tea....

I'm a damm yankee, born and raised in Detroit Michigan.. But i'm in the south to stay.

Ya'll don't understand it's a southern thing,we southerners ain't into the hurryup mode we take our damn sweet time at everything we do makes no sence in rushin, ya make too many mistakes. Many yankees call it lazy, we call it pacein ourselves!!!!

When I retired in SoCal I travelled to North Carolina with my wife and adult daughter hoping to convince them to move to Asheville. When we flew over the area my daughter asked, why is it so green? Ihad to explain to her that she was looking at trees and the foliage in the hills.........I guess she's seen way too much concrete in Los Angeles. I never could convince my daughter to move, I' m still in SoCal, wishing I was in N.C.

I think part of it is that most of all the NASCAR builders are there and the rent is cheap. We always see they go off to some place that has cool stuff or can do great work but never tell you how much they spent on it lol.
