Window seal removal

Looking for input on best way to remove residual window seal ...Heat ...Chemical...both ? .... T.I.A !

Adhesive remover and scrape it off.

I had good luck with mineral spirits.

I started with a heat gun n wood chisel, took a couple trys but found that if I heated it up just enough to loosen the sealer from the metal sill it would come up in strips as I kept heat where the wood chisel was rolling the seal up n away from the sill....I'll use one of the above for the still left behind...
