Its needs adjustment in the top of the window, because its turned to outside…

You need to loosen the bottom A frame nut and the two bolts on the back end of the door AND the two small nuts on the front end of the door. This will allow you to tip the window in.

will be watching this thread...my own drivers door is difficult to roll up and down through the upper half of travel and I suspect a similar issue with mine.

Start by spraying your channels with silicone spray. By the time the window gets to the upper half most of it is out of the rear channel so its a slim chance channel alignment is the issue.

Me too. When my Charger went for body & paint last winter, I gave my body man new window felts to install. I don't know if it was an install issue or just years of sitting, because I can't remember the last time I rolled my windows up/down, but now they are resistant to being rolled up and the rubber squeals against the glass. Don't worry, I'm not forcing anything, but something is clearly not right.

Which "felts" are we talking about, the one's on the top edges of the doors or the one's in the A-channel ??

Regardless, those are not items I would entrust to a body and paint guy unless they are a full-blown top to bottom resto shop - in which case they likely wouldn't have wanted to do just your body anyhow.

The side windows are something you're better off to patiently struggle with yourself. The toughest part is the channel felts - the first one took me close to two hours before I quit and took a break. Then had both done in 1/2 an hour after asking questions and formulating a plan. When installing you cannot use enough masking tape around the opening to protect the paint !! The cat whiskers go in last and the window mech has to be backed off so the window will drop lower to install them - then readjust. Replace the end glides as well - originals are rivetted. Channels are likely rusted. Clean everything up then set the new ones in place with adhesive instead of rivets - I use polyurethane - that **** will adhere anything to anything.

Probably my wrong terminology...I meant the cat whiskers. :) Aka "belt line weatherstrips". Those are what I had the body man install.
My new ones sat in an attic through hot and cold for close to 40 years with no issues. I doubt they're at fault. You can shoot 'em with silicone spray without doing any harm. the stuff just wipes off the glass with no problem. Shoot it in the tracks front and back as welldo the front trank with the window down and the back track with the window up. You'll need to remove the door panel to do the back one.
