The motor on my 66 Coronet has given up the ghost.
I have been offered a later B body motor.
I see they have a different plug on and the gear has a concentric cam.
My question is ,can I remove the gear out of mine and fit it in the "newer" model as mine is a straight drive out of it.
Also is the wire colours performing the same function, so I can cut off the newer plug and straight wire in my bulkhead plug colour for colour.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks.

Hi YP,
I think I still have the wiper motor from my 66 Belvedere. Would you be interested?
Mike

Evening Mike
Thanks for the offer, its greatly appreciated.
I will get stung for shipping and import duty , that's the bummer on living this side of the pond.
If I can't make the later model motor work ,I will take you up on your kind offer.
Cheers Steve

I am interested in the 66 Belvedere wiper motor, if York does not end up needing it. My 67 Belvedere could use it. I posted a wtb for one just a few days ago. Let me know. Thanks.

PM me a price Mike and I will work out the shipping and duty.
Regards Steve.
What are the rates of Duty at now for second hand parts? Can't be too much if the item is priced right. Shipping is not cheap...you just have to suck that up. I must have spent enough on shipping over the last 20 years to buy my own friggin' ship. :D

Well fellas,
I apologize for my fading memory. I do not have the 66 wiper motor-must have scrapped it back in 1981 when I built my wagon. On the other hand I found 2 manual and 2 power steering gears and 2 P.S. pumps I had forgotten.
Mike

If you have the crank from the donated motor and the part number on that crank ends in 273 The motor will work. You'll have to rewire the connector on the late motor to match the original.
