With rally rims, white lettering in or out?

Common sense has come to roost, but not for the full 100% yet. The bigger rear wheels are obvious out of wack.
 
Race cars have had white (or yellow) letters for decades. It's a way for them to advertise. That caught on with production cars to make them look more "racy".

That's a great looking car, Gary, but I think I would have put Coopers on it. I hope,you have good luck with avoiding brown letters on your T/A's.
 
For me it's white letters out on stock or factory rallyes (to keep them from looking too plain) and black wall for mags (flashy enough). Depends on the car and what look you're after too.

Old school....letters out!
The way it was done in '71.
But good quality
recogniseable brand.
Goodyear, BF Goodrich,
etc.
