worked on the charger yesterday

Got the dash out,heater box,back window and started to remove the door glass. The door glass is a PITA How about that dash speaker.

The channel around the back window was alot cleaner then I thought once I cleaned it. love the hack job for speakers on the tray.

The windshield was already removed? Does dash removal require the windshield to be removed?

Yes and yes my windshield was toast, 5 bolts on top are covers by the windshield.

Love the excitement of watching our old, rusty, crusty, clunkers being transformed back to a new form of existence. As it has been asked, are we really the owner of our cars or just the currant historian/caretakers in charge.
My favorite "hack job'' is the one you have, easily covered up during a restored venture. And boy did I do some hacking myself, putting in the biggest sound system I could afford during the 70's.
