If you notice in my photos, I used U-bolts that were almost the same width as the diameter of the torsion bar. They were actually about 1/4 inch smaller than the torsion bar. I then filed flats on the insides of the U-bolts (about 1/8" of each U-bolt threaded portion) so they were very snug to the diameter of the torsion bars. I tightened them fairly tight so there was no slippage and they tapped right out without marring the bar. A little more filed off and I could have put a wrap of tape around it. Get larger U-bolts and you could put a piece of hose over each leg of the U-bolt or a slit piece of hose on the torsion bar. It worked for me and was very inexpensive.

Yes, I have backed of the LcA adjustment and loosened the strut rods and the LCA bushing.
My body man put one in backwards and dry and I need to get them out install
