Your 1rst B Body?

My first B Body was a 1970 coronet with a 383/auto and a super power shot in the trunk. I found it in Denver on a side street. A few buddies and myself all piled into his bronco and spent all weekend partying in Denver. After cruising around all morning looking for girls, we spotted this car. It had the round super bee graphics on the back and dual hood scoops. I ended up buying the car after the owner took us out on the freeway and banged through the gears. $3800 and I drove it home.

My second was a 1972 Charger Rallye 440/auto 3.55 bought this year. Paid $6600 for that one. Found it on ebay when I was laid up from a blood clot in my lung. Probably shouldn't have bought a car, but I figured why not. We don't live for ever, better enjoy life before its gone.

I traded a 1970 duster 318 3sp on floor that I bought for $300 for my 1969 Roadrunner, bench seat, 383 auto on column in 1990 (high school car). Luckily I still have the car too, just torn apart to do a resto.
#2 1974 charger 400 auto 1991 for $700, sorry guys but turned out to be YUCK! got rid of it shortly after buying.
#3 1968 383 4sp roadrunner rolling shell (super straight though) for $500 and set of 14" ralley wheels. sold a few years ago, regret that one!
#4 1967 383 hp satellite 2007 $750. sold earlier this year.
#5 1967 belvedere 318 (parts car for the satellite) for $600, Sold earlier this year with belvedere as package.
#6 1966 Belvedere II, 318 auto on column very straight and little rust, bought in 2009 for $1200 drive it home. Still have it and doing a satin black tubbed hot rod with 446ci nitrous, yeehaaa!

My first of many "B" body cars...1966 Charger, 383 factory 4spd car...got it in 1974, still have it today

what? r u kidding me?? that car is freakin sweet!! you have the tower of power underneath that hood!!! get her on the road {make sure she's safe to drive}, clean up them wheels, do some maintenance under the hood and you got yourself a bona-fide MoPar to haul a$$ in!!!

My 78 Cordoba. Great grandpa bought it brand new, didn't drive it much, sat in his garage for about 15 years at one point and was never winter driven. He gave it to my dad shortly before passing away with 40,000kms on the odometer in 2001. About 4 years ago my dad passed the car down to me and it currently has about 107,000kms. Still has the original dealer sticker too.

My first b Body was a 1972 Plymouth Road Runner with a NOM 440 in it. It was a four speed car and was fairly quick. This was in high school back in 1992, but still a fairly rare car.

My one and only B body, I bought in 1971 for $300. It was a 64 Polara 500 383-4. Had a bunch of options on it and was a "factory demonstrator" (today I think they call them "executive cars"). My mom's second cousin bought it in early 65. I was enamored by the Mopars then and asked my mom to call and ask about it. It had a few miles on it but was a great car. A couple of dents and a couple of interior tears. I had the interior fixed by a local upholsterer for $60. A friend who lived down the street took the car and fixed the dents and repainted the whole car for $150 (a lot of money back then).

I drove it through the rest of my high school years and through the first year of college. The fuel crisis of the early 70's hit and it was costing me a fortune to drive it (9-12 mpg) and Gas cost $.50/gallon..........so I decided to sell it. I sold it to a kid who I was teaching photography to who was in high school, telling him if he ever wanted to sell the car to let me know first. I never got the chance to buy it back. His brother (a dope head) took it out and wrapped it around a pole.

The experience kind of soured me on Mopars for a long time (I know it wasn't the cars fault, but that's the way I handled it). Over the years I've had hankerings for the Mopar life. Just recently I have had more hankering and looking around for the right car.

First B-body was a 69 S.E. Charger, 383 auto on the floor, Q5 black vinal top, black interior, first car I got in 76. Still have it today, alone with 3 other 69s, & a 70 Charger.

1969 charger 383 auto. paid 800 bucks for it from my cousin in 1980. got in alot of trouble in that car. wish i had another one

Mine was a 1972 Dodge Charger SE
Bought: Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton Oh 1982.
I bought it from SSgt Gary Garmin
Color: Brown
Black Vinyl top
Automatic w/ console.
Truly a wonderful car.

THAT 72 Charger led me to my second MOPAR:
1970 Challenger SE/RT Go-Mango 440 4BBL Automatic.

Selling THAT Challenger led me into a state of depression since 1986! The day I sold it to buy a house. LOL!

Bought my 70 GTX in 1979 high school car, still have it and keepin it. Paid 1000.00
Here is a pic taken the day I brought it home.
