I have a cool old 61 Savoy with a 318 wide block and a powerflite.

I also have a long ram intake sitting here waiting to go on a big block..

So was wondering what your thoughts where on these ideas..

Where do you find these things???

Hey how have you been? I also picked up another Mopar... Here is a pick of it.. But I really like the Savoy...

Yes they do look mad don't they? Great car with no rust issues... I did the door myself on the shop... I cheated and used an over head projector and a clear sheet with the printed logo on it... Traced it out with a sharpie taped and painted it...

38?

How about the long ram on that...sticking out each side of the hood?

HERES MY THOUGHTS.....bring that Savoy back to stock. thats an amazing car!

Paint=Black and Sinister!
Stance= a bit too low
Wheels=just, a bit too large///torque thrust
interior=Red and Black...
Period correct Big Block! & long ram
brite work needs to be all there and "clean"...........
yes, I could get into this project
Sonny Black..........wow:headbang:

Resto-Mod the heel out of it, BB, tubs, interior, paint, wheels, lower stance, the works, but with a touch of class, it deserves that... Good luck & build it how ever you want it, who cares what anyone else thinks...

Cant do that to the 37... It is already setup for a sb with disk brakes and power steering..

Wife loves that car...

I was looking at it and I am going to mini tub it.. A mild bb 383 just something that will sound good but keep it a driver... A stretched stock wheel sounds like the ticket...

They both sure look like there in great shape, The Savoy in a Bahama Blue all stock appearing would look good, the 37, That is going to look great in any color combo, SB would be great with a larger then stock cam and some headers rumbling thru some cherry bombs sitting at a stop light.. My very humble opinion....
Thats a cool idea on the garage door the way you did it.. Looks really good..

whats the deal with the chebby floor/welcome mat ?

that savoy is cool

What better to have to wipe your feet on... And it was free... I wish there was a forum for us misfit cars....lol

There was a savoy that body style at the Zepherhills swap/auction.
Factory long ram, 3 on the tree, radio/heater delete (something else delete, too)- once owned by Bobby Allison.

Yea there is a video on you tube of that car... Cool car for sure... Mine is running like a top now... I am going to mini tub it with a fat tire on the back and the long ram for sure...

Big block with an OD trans....stick.

Fugly

Is this it ?? Hemi-It-Is or Cranky... added it to my pitcher file a while ago, "I think this thing is cool as hell"
