It's not really a bash on E-bodies. I have one. (I believe still a step down from B-bodies.) But the FEBO Site? Has anyone tried that site? It's just a parts hunt. And that's the bash.

Yes. I gave up on it. Hate to say it but, some of those guys remind me of corvette guys from back when they started goin through the roof.

Not me. Here’s a picture of my V code 4 speed ‘Cuda from early ‘83 when I got it. I got my E87 D21 Charger in early ‘85.

While everyone looks down on Chevy, all car owners all stay true to what they own in reality. I've owned Saleen, viper, I do know they hate each other and they ALL hate Corvette. The one thing they need to understand is, if I wanted what they have, I'd go get one. I stay true to my wife and kids and enjoy you guys, but my car is, at the time, who I am. Screw them.

I'm not bashing the E-body platform. (Although I still believe their build quality is a step down from B-body. Somewhere between A and B. As B-bodies are a step down from some of the C-bodies. Especially late 50s early 60s lettered cars?) What I'm whining about is their online platform. It's more of a virtual swap meet? I understand it's the nature of the beast for E-bodies. Being they only had a 5 year run. But how much discussion can be had about a bumper bracket?

we used to have a 1970 Challenger 340. Once done it sat ,,,a lot.
Just not comfortable to drive any lengthy distance. We added a 6 way seat and the later model tuff stuff steering wheel , Both which helped a bunch.
But came down to I prefer a B body. So the car got sold off and never looked back with no desire to own another one

I thumb my nose at all you B body snobs! LolView attachment 1220014
E-bodies were made so A-bodies can support B-body performance options? Yes. I'm saying. E-bodies are just a wider A-body. They are still just pony cars. Not muscle cars. (Damn it. I'm doing what I said I wasn't! Bashing E-bodies! Lol.)

E body's are b body's with the *** end cut off.
Ball slappers some would call them.

Yup, the E and B cars share a lot of the same parts chassis wise.....and I like cars period but have owned a lot more E cars than B's. Ironic though that my first car was a B and as it stands, my last old car is also a B and both are 66 Belvederes.

I had a 70 Challenger 340 (A66 package), too with an added tuff wheel to sit better. It still wasn't nice to drive and uncomfortable (me being six feet+). So it had to go. It was my daily driver for the city.

I own both B and E body and though they are different I really like them both.
I find the E body or the B body forums both a good source of information and good second hand parts for reasonable money.
If we all liked the same things it would be very boring at a car show.

Had to raise the seat 1" in my 71 Cuda to make it feel right but my 70 Challenger was fine as it came. Also had an A66 Challenger before they were popular. It had some cool options including a luggage rack and the rear window louvers.

I have a 1971 Challenger. I've been to For E bodies. It was just kind of boring. That and I guess I'm done with whatever I set out to do with the car. When I saw Vanishing Point in 1971 at the drive-in and I swore I would get a Challenger someday. The '69 Charger was next on the list. I would like to have lots of other cars like a '63 Split Window Vette, a '70 GTO Judge but I can't have them all.

Here's my current garage.
1969 Charger
1971 Charger
1971 Challenger
1970 Pontiac drag car
1973 Grand Am 455
1981 Camaro' BumbleBee
1997 Camaro SS
2006 Hummer H3

Oh! I forgot. I'm a new owner of a 1970 Coronet 500. It's just not here yet. Like I said it's in Las Vegas, NM. I want to go there and take pictures of all the filming locations from 1984's Red Dawn. I watched it again last night.

What do I drive? My little Pontiac Vibe. (Toyota Matrix) I drive it way too fast and wind it up to 6300 RPMs before shifting that little 5 speed!!! It's also great in traffic with two giant Newfoundland dogs sticking their heads out the rear windows. The back seats are folded down so their heads barely clear the top of the window frames. I get lots of smiles.

Sorry, I'm posting so much. I'm sick and a little bored.

ive been doing cars since 1993,and owned several e bodies.
what i discovered was they are too wide, too low,and have a horrible seating and side view.
beautiful cars, but not much fun to actually drive, esp daily.
they do have great resale value, but thats about it.

the a bodies are what i consider to be a compact pocket rocket,if equipped right.( Great street fighters )
the b bodies are the heavyweights, the cruisers and the battleships,as it were,of the mopar lineup..
the c bodies were the aircraft ships, enormous but still powerful and fun to boat around.
just my opinion.

70-74 cudas look like 1st gen Camaros to me....... not that that's a bad thing, just a little late to the party

funny you should say that, bitd we always used to call them camaraclones, for that front end.
between that and those vette round taillites...
in fact,i had a beautiful blue one, that i put a motor in and everything, then sold it for 5k,and that was back in the 90-s !!
dont miss it at all.

Yup, but Mopar E bodies are worth more than Chevies. Just my opinion. Harder to restore and fewer made. I'm an A , B, and E body guy. Got one of each. I don't much care for the attitude of most on FEBO either. My E body is next on my rotisserie. 70 Cuda 383 4spd. all numbers matching. Don't look like much here, but it will be nice. Virtually 0 rust. Got lucky when I found it 6 years ago:thumbsup:
