Well the February giveaway prizes showed up today. I was all excited to tear into the box and Bam there was a bonus gift in the box, a 69 Roadrunner Wow! Thanks Nick. I also love the Gremlin magnet especially the green one. Lol
We have some great members here @ FBBO Thanks for all the fun Nick.
To jump in this thread, a local shop began running four quarts of straight 40w (VR1) and added one quart of the Lucas oil additive in mine. They said that my 69' Charger, 383, responded well to it. Any thoughts? Too thick? I've read one post in this thread that someone ran something very similar....
This looks like a spacer. Is the C-clip under it?
Might try removing it and see what you have for proper length. I'd remove the O-ring first, remove the spacer then reinstall the O-ring. Maybe it won’t slide over the bearing?
I mean you can build a ls cheap in comparison to something like a nicely built big block mopar.
Yeah I hear you. If the cam bearing goes, it’ll probably result in needing all new bearings and a crank polish as well. In addition to gaskets.
I have all the odds and ends covered. It’s got some...
Since I started this question, I’m inclined believe that up to the change to unibody construction in 62 the older mopars had body painted firewalls with blacked out inner fenders and radiator supports. Black cars of course excluded from the generalities. Anyone concur?
I have a low profile sub mounted under the passenger seat. It gives the passenger good vibrations. I recommend placement elsewhere if you frequently have passengers listening to tunes.
The guys at Big 3 racing might know the real scoop. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have started building a multi million dollar race shop there if they knew the track was going to be sold for property.

There are several variations of size and capacity.
I actually like peeling out!
Yeah, you are right though. There is some truth to the more traction theory.
My next step was to attach the flywheel / clutch assembly to the engine. No problems installing the flywheel, but the clutch was another story. To back up a bit, in the SST supplied instruction material, they make reference to the following -
