I didn't see your photo when I commented. Those control arms have been boxed and you will need to enlarge the opening so the socket fits. You might be able to find a thin wall socket but they are not strong.
While we are on the subject, is there any approximation how much adjustment is produced in height? 1 turn = 1/2" or what ever.
Somewhere close would be good. I spent a lot of time up and down off the creeper yesterday adjusting mine. (70 years old and 250# is a wrong combination for that) I got...
Let's not get into that here. If you live in the US, buy from US suppliers. If they have it in stock and it was made in China there shouldn't be a tariff mark up.
Ask any Glide using racer how many extras he has in his trailer. A buddy of mine has a 800+ horse wedge in his Duster with a 727. He got 1500 passes before he had an issue. He slipped in his outdated back up and was back racing for the Sunday finals.
Boy you seem to be having a lot of electrical issues. This is your 3'rd distributor issue and I saw 1 alternator issue. That looked like it was caused by aftermarket parts too.
Thanks. An inch or two would make a big difference I think. Add 2" and then adjust the seat as needed. The way it is now, it is back all the way and not far enough. I think I'll give them a try. :thumbsup:
I am running out of time this afternoon so I will just post some photos of my afternoon's to do list.
I installed the alternator. I posted pucs above.
I got the seat belts mounted as well as the dash pad. (kind of a turd) I used plastic Christmas trees instead of those metal door panel...
That power seat base looks like a winner. Were the track extensions anything like these? I just started poking around to see which ones may work the best.
