Lot's of hate for the only Mopar show on television. If it weren't for Mark, there wouldn't be a Mopar show on television. They didn't even want Graveyard Carz because it was too niche. Mark practically gave it to them for pennies on the dollar - a show he funded completely out of his pocket to...
According to
According to Rotten Tomatoes, every season has had 13 episodes save Season 5 which had 12, but Season 4 had 14 episodes...so I guess it evens out.
Rumor has it, they've been renewed for Season 8 and 9. :)
Yeah, the show now is completely different than Season 1 and 2, tonally and content wise. Cars are put in the foreground and the drama is so far in the background it's hard to notice.
Hope Season 5 and 6 gets your way so you can give it another shot.
Hey folks, glad to see some positivity surrounding the new season of the show. As you know from last years thread, I'm one of the producers for the show and we worked really hard to give you guys a show you'd enjoy. It wasn't perfect but I hope you all saw it as a big step in the right...
If we showed Legendary product on screen, whether we verbally said it or not, still counts as an integration. MrMopart's parts/products were shown on screen a few times during the installation of the 1970 340 Cuda. And we had two entire episodes with Tony from Tony's Mopar Parts in Season 4a/4b...
I believe we show a lot of the metal work on the show. This last season alone, the one car that was available to show metal work had two episodes dedicated to the sheet metal installation. We showed the dedication to factory spot welds and panel fittings from AMD Installation. During "Hemi in...
I think you might be mistaken.
Our second half of the season began Oct. 7th, 2015 with the release of 12 brand new episodes. We aired 4, there was a 3 week hiatus, and we returned Nov. 25th and aired a brand new episode every week until January 13th.
During those times, we made plenty of...
I know it may seem like we should just be rolling in the dough - we make a TV show, we restore cars, we're rich! Well, that's the case when the network pays to have the show made, which is called a commission. That means the network owns the show, the intellectual property, make money from...
To be honest, even if we wanted to, it's probably not going to happen. Unless we get a customer that wants that, we'll probably continue forward the way we are in terms of the kind of car we produce. Yes, Mark throws OE around a lot and my producers and I agree we need to clarify this in the...
Hey Donny, I don't think you're full of crap. As one of the producers of the show, we do look at everyone's feedback and we do our best to implement. The cast change was something unexpected and we had to deal with it quickly because it happened in the middle of a contracted 26 episode deal. So...
I forgot, you don't understand Mark humor. The jokes on you for taking him seriously when he says that.
No different than Michael Scott saying he's the world best boss. :rolling:

Not directly, but there is some with an agenda to use anything they can to project their...
If you think the story we got that the engine was idling and then it exploded is fishy, then everyone at GYC would agree with you. We have yet to learn what "actually" happened to the Sunroof car, but we have our suspicions, some of them we mentioned in the show, some we won't say as we have...
Thanks!
He just has a problem with Royal's "poop box" car. Mark hates the color of it. I personally think it's rather nice. Very executive looking - it would please me :P
I hear what you are saying and all I can say is from experience, Mark doesn't have a problem with custom builds if they...
You do realize they were disassembling the car right? The Coronet had been restored by a previous restoration shop. He didn't put that dash pad on - in fact - he was specifically calling it out as wrong.

We do check our Q&A's pretty thoroughly and we strive to give...
How is it that Tony, who has won OE Gold, claims that the gaps can be even worse on factory cars and whose car was heavily referenced for this restoration? Remember, I'm just a Producer so I could be stupid about this.
I've quoted you saying above that GYC didn't even put one on. Then when I...
After numerous private messages to return, saying the negativity was a minority here, I decided to jump back and take a look. Well, it seems that there is still the negativity from a select few, and the subject bothered me greatly so I decided to respond.
I'm not a fool, I understand that with...
Look at this guys, as I edit the season finale (episode 26) of Graveyard Carz, I cannot help but appreciate the craftsmanship and care that went into this restoration.
It's easy for people to pick things apart and stand on their little mound and feel important, but they are not the ones...
