Is there a heat riser flap in the exhaust? Could be stuck closed, heating up the intake. Do you have the insulator pad between the intake and the valley pan?
After a quick session of making the belt squeal, quickly pull over, shut off the engine and open the hood. Gingerly touch each pulley, the pulley that is extremely hot will be the one that is slipping.
If the breather gets plugged, it can create pressure which can force oil out the axle seals. I've seen some that get plugged due to oil vapor and dust collecting in them. It can easily be cleaned if necessary.
You could check all the plugs wires and get an idea of the resistance. If one wire is waaay different than the others, it could be bad. If they're all about the same, look for something else.
