Looking good. Where did you get the front floor pans from? My 65 coronet will need them sometime down the road.

The floor pans came out of Mill Supply. I think they were in Ohio? A good selection of panels.

Oct 21,14. Spent a couple of hours fabricating the right side frame connector today. Big improvement in looks and strength over the previous 2X2 connectors that got removed.

Oct 25,14. Finished up with my custom built frame connectors today and then cut out the left side mini tub. Whoever did this mini tub job should be shot.. A terrible mess covered up with a lot of seam sealer. On the positive side, it is repairable!

It's been 6 weeks now since the Plymouth came apart and progress is moving forward; although not fast. One wheel tub left to finish and then trunk extensions to replace. Once that's done I can clean up all the welds and then start on the roll bar.

Thanks for the compliments! Actually I built the hoist about 10 years ago, and then built the rotisserie to attach to it 5 years back. Sure makes the job easier, although last weekend when I was working in the trunk on the left tub I didn't have it locked and the Plymouth did a 180 with me in the trunk! On the way around I got myself braced in place and when it was all over I was still firmly braced and looking down at the garage floor.. lol. Tools strewn all over the place.. Coulda been a good AFV vid!

It's been some time since I've done any updates. Despite the lack of updates there has been a lot of progress made. All metal work on the shell is done and the 6-point bar is in. Fresh epoxy primer where needed followed by high build primer is next!

The rear wheel openings have been stretched at the front. This was a tight area before with the 30" ET Drag radials. Will have excellent clearance now.

Excellent work, those frame connectors look great under there and they only cost you a nose full of black boogers! Tubs look really good as well, beautiful job!

Subscribed. That car is going to be nice without a doubt. I love the rotisserie you built. That is an excellent idea. I have been pondering a 4 post hoist and this is a great addition to have. And building frame connectors just got easier too! Thanx. I'm thinking I will pilfering some of your ideas!

Had some nice weather and was able to get the chassis into primer today. With just a few hours of priming it sure seems to bring the project to a turning point.

Next step is to get it off the rotisserie and onto the car dolly where it will be assembled, fit, gapped, primed and blocked. Nothing better than spending time on the Mopar!
