Thank you for the info on the ground cable and yes that does help.
Did you use a standard big block dip stick or one for a Max Wedge?
And "WOW!" Those door panels, really beautifully done.
I know that you can't wait to get it all assembled and neither can I. Really want to see it when you're through.
Today I am sandblasting the lower front valance panel on the 63 Maxie.
I found out that all the Max Wedge and the cars that were produced at the Chrysler Hamtramck Plant were painted with a red oxide primer after being dipped in the chemical bath, before the final paint was applied. Found that to be true as I've sand the body on the Dodge.
The 64 is completely sanded down as I prep it for paint. I haven't sanded the 63 yet, but soon as I slowly move forward with both.
So before painting both Maxies and the Street Wedge Dodge, I will use the red oxide as the primer.
