Anyone have a source for a good trunk lock/Key cylinder assembly for my car?
Tried one and it was junk so I sent it back.

IMO, look for nos or a good used original. I've heard some not so good reviews on the currently avail stuff out there.

Decided to work on my quarter window installation. Again total sticker shock for the few parts I needed.
What are y'all using to hold the glass in place?

Here's a picture of what they had (on left) but only two of them.

There was only one roller like above, so I had to order new.

I was just exclaiming to myself a half-hour ago going through my parts that I found a new roller from
Year One with a $5.00 price on the plastic zip lock! Wonder what they cost now????

Apparently they don't sell them individually anymore.
I ended up buying the kit from another supplier for $70 plus shipping.

I have a whole kit on my shelf for when I assemble my doors the last time... I seem to recall it being $23 for everything... It's been a few years..

I need to get the proper glass to regulator fasteners.
The driver's side is the only one that has any fasteners. The passenger side regulator has broken off bolts that will have to be drilled out.
This is the outside of the window so those sleeves are inserted from the outside.

The sleeves extend through the glass:

The bolts have a special rubber grommet that is mostly disintegrated.

Does any of this look like factory installation parts?

The bolt doesn't.. (stating the obvious) In the past I've used radiator overflow hose to make sleeves where the bolts pass through the glass and regular rubber washers on E bodies...

But here's a kit for the repo parts...

Yes, I already bought the roller kit but don't see the glass to regulator attaching items.
So I'm thinking of doing what you did. Are the rubber washers you used fairly hard?
I will need to check for torque specs as well, since I seem to always overtighten things.

Got the quarter glass installed today. I will need to wait until the door glass is in stalled to get it properly adjusted but it's in.

I tried ordering the upper and lower grille support moldings but nobody seems to have them in stock. I ordered a set from one place and they didn't say anything about them being backordered, so I waited over a week and didn't get any shipping notices. Contacted them only to find it's out of stock and they don't have any concrete ETA, so they refunded my money.

Decided to try restoring them and since the bottom was in the worst shape I started with it. Here you can see it compared to the upper that I have done anything to yet. It came out better than I expected but is a long way from perfect. Still needs black paint applied.

Got the grille and surround in pretty good shape. Took a lot of work.
Yesterday installed it for test fit. Needs a little adjusting and I nicked the black paint in a couple of spots:

Getting ready to install the door glass, however the manual is quite confusing.
I have this picture from when I did my signature car. Assuming the assembly will be the same for the GTX.
The lowest point is where the adjusting pin is located and the manual calls for cement-tape but isn't really clear on what that is or where it is supposed to be installed.

Just a guess but I'm thinking they are referring to the pad at the bottom of the glass where the channel attaches with a nylon pin...
