1969 Dodge Coronet 500

Looking good, I suggest that you remove the door striker before you paint the door post, other wise you can end up with the old paint "coming out" if you have to move and adjust the striker in the future, it is only three bolts.

looking good man.. I am just north of you and have a 69 coronet 500 also I bought it in 98 lol fifteen years ago I am doing a rt clone but a resto mod at the same time
great cars love the look of the 69

Update - Quarters, tailpanel, trunk, wheel wells, and rear window corners are repaired and in primer - pretty much a new back half of the car.

Getting ready to start tackling the floors and rockers the next couple weeks.

I agree, everything looks great and that back window fits snug in the channel. When you get it sealed in place, there's no way any water is going to leak down underneath.

Looking good. Looks like you found some decent help for the stuff you aren't comfortable doing.

Wow, You have this looking good! no doubt this is going to look great..

Any chance your not putting the vinyl top back on? I need those chrome vinyl top trim pieces.

Sorry, the vinyl top is going back on. I actually had to get a set of the trim pieces off ebay a few weeks back, think it ran me about $100.

pretty sure they're all the same, Charger should be the only different one.

WOW! Great work Craig!

Thanks Swede.....but I have to give the body work credit to the shop. I am their monkey labor guy at this point. I do all the grinding, cleaning, and dismantling....they come in and handle the body work. It's like an apprenticeship program that I have to pay for :)

Sorry I'm a little late to the party, way to just jump in and tackle a daunting task "lookin real good".

No. the vinyl top trim pieces are not the same on Dodge and ply. length and apperance is differant.
