1969 GTX....The T stands for tetanus

As you can see in my pic there is no hole because there is no metal. In the pic I'm holding the passenger side trim plate to the right 1" from where it goes. My car had a/c vents there before so I'm assuming something is missing for these to screw to. There may also be a difference since mine is a charger rallye dash and frame.
Gotcha. Just saw that. The metal you are missing obviously is where the vents went so no metal. It should be easy enough to make a bracket that spans the opening that you can screw the trim screw into. Something like a flattened M shape.

Kid you have a AC dash, that's why there's no metal there. You may need to wels a tab in for it to attach.

Thanks guys. I didn't think there were any differences in a/c and no a/c dashs. Ez fix.

After having several people tell me my car is smoking I had to replace the cork valve cover gaskets. Damn driver side was pouring oil on the starter and header collector. Replaced them with Fel Pro composite gaskets that are much stiffer so they don't squish out or smash down. So far so good. No more burning oil smell lol.

year one has 30% off today till midnight I think. Code DINNER. Tail panel for 610 is cheap! If it fits.

As much as I despise ordering from them, I did order a set of front and rear door panels on sale for around $380 shipped. And I haven't heard a thing on the emblem I ordered from them. I'll probably cancel it since the one I got from you is just fine.

30% is worth buying from them......but I agree on the despise part..

Which emblem is that?

Still chasing little things.

Took it over to have the alignment done and the guy mentioned the strut rod bushings looked worn. The car had been pulling left during braking and they looked a bit crushed so I replaced them with urethane bushings. After I had the pass side loose I saw that the lca bushing inner sleeve had pulled out about 3/16" from the rubber so I replaced it while I was in there. Pull was still there so I re bled the pass front brake again and adjusted the brakes a little tighter and I think that did the trick.

I have also been chasing a thunk clunk in the trunk. Pretty loud in the cab and I can replicate it by bouncing the rear end. Removed everything and still there. Re adjusted the exhaust, secured any and all lines away from the body...still there. Soooo I started pulling the new KYB gasadjust shocks....sound went away. Put on an old, used set and no more sound. I can't say how much crap I have bought that goes bad or is bad out of the box.

Did you flip the washer for a specific reason?

Looks great! What did you have to tweak bracket wise?

The front bracket bumper mounts did not fit without putting tension on the bumper once tightened. And since they are two piece I had to get them to work together before mounting to the car.

Thats not bad at all to deal with...good to know!

The rear finish panel emblem. I think they make them as they are ordered lol.
Cancel it....I had one a year ago and it didn't fit for sh##.....Find an original and get it chromed....If you have no luck finding one, let me know.....

And the bumpers they were mounted to originally were tweaked and not straight which contributed to the adjustments I had to make on straight bumpers. The AMD bumpers didn't take much to flex if the bracket was slightly misaligned. I actually used a washer under one bumper bolt because I just couldn't get the thing to sit straight.

Thanks. I'm going to cancel it tomorrow. I got a used one from Tim (69GTX) and it is much nicer than my trunk finish panel lol.

I have always been told the washer is cupped away from the bushing.
Nada....Cup towards the bushing....Poly vs rubber no difference I had several cars with polls installed the same...

Pic is from my X before removal for the first time in it's life....

Chrome and flex is no bueno....Not bad at all...Looks very nice...

My friend cracked the chrome on his bumper when he tightened down his bumper!

It is a gut wrenching sound....I had a charger bumper guard pop the chrome once when tightened done. The pressure on the edge made it snap off the guard.....I learned not to be superman anymore, lol....
